I haven’t looked at the map, however you do not need 2 diffs for ranking. RC states that any set needs at least 90 seconds of drain time for ranked. Here is our ranking criteria https://osu.titanic.sh/wiki/en/Ranking%20Criteria

Older clients require 2 difficulties to move to pending, you can use Digital Client to avoid this issue, however if it did get ranked while in WIP it would automatically get moved anyways.

It doesn't have 90 seconds of drain time already?

What is Digital Client by the way, and does this mean that it is rankable? Please explain.

Digital Client is my modded b20130303 client that can be used on Titanic. It offers numerous mapping enhancements compared to other clients on Titanic. https://osu.titanic.sh/forum/23/t/560/

I haven't looked at the map, so I can't say if your map is rankable. All I was stating is that you only need 90 seconds of drain time for a ranked set. Your map is 3 and a half minutes, so it does not need an additional difficulty to be ranked.

This map is not of rankable quality.

  • The BPM is wrong, a single BPM is not sufficient for correctly timing this song.
  • You have off screen objects in this map
  • All difficulty settings must be whole numbers
  • Perfect Curve sliders are not allowed due to older client compatibility issues, this is an easy fix now with Digital Client though
  • No preview point is set
  • Rhythm choice leaves a lot to desire, and is overall inconsistent. You over rely on reverse arrow sliders to represent major parts of this song
  • Object placement and spacing seems inconsistent, and does little to help emphasize different parts of the song

I suggest you map a song with simpler timing, something that is easier to follow and easier to emphasize. It’s good to try to have a reference to learn from. Pick some of your favorite maps and try to make something like that, and inspect those maps to try to understand why they made the decisions they did. I could try to point out specific patterns, but in my opinion you will learn and improve greatly from making new maps and experimenting more. This is a good place to start from, but you need more time before you can make a rankable map.
