I think I have a good idea of what too easy or too hard is

You can create difficulty in many different ways
|
|
|
I think you should consider adding some sliders to more passive sounds. Only emphasize one or the other. The vocals, or the drum, or the synth. if you make everything active it just feels like circle spam
