You couldn’t just upload this one as a separate beatmap and keep your “erase u” map as it is?

this is just a fucking bad take man. Just because you delete it being shit map doesn't mean it won't get played by many. Do better.

I agree with what Ubel is saying. If you think your erase u map is shit, you could've just remapped it if you wanted to. And if you couldn't upload another mapset because of the upload limit, then just upload the set through Digital's client, that client lets you upload up to 15 sets iirc.

You could've just done all of that instead of reusing one of your old maps to make an entirely different map.

I get what you're saying but you don't have to be so rude about it. If you really do have a problem with me replacing a map with another I can just put the other (erase u) map in the description

i usually upload maps through digital client and when i tried to upload it as its own map it didn't let me, even though I've submitted 10 maps and not 15.

its their set, they can do what they want with it even if it is as extreme as completely replacing it with a new set. those who played it and liked the old one can still play it and its not like there is much of a difference anyway because the set was never ranked

I’m not aware of clients dictating upload set amounts, the server tells the client if you can or cannot upload, and what that limit is. Server determines upload limit based on how many ranked sets you have.

Yeah I would say Ubel came off too harsh. I do agree that we shouldn’t nuke old maps that people were “in demand” still so to speak. If you run into upload limits either wait a little longer, or let’s work on ranking your existing sets first. I’m available to help mod at some point today
