00:18:154 - 00:20:641 i felt like building a bit of a suspension around this combined with the storyboard so the player knows it's only get more difficult from here
-> combined with ur post abt 00:19:397 - 00:20:019 imma ctrl+j 00:18:154 (1) for 00:18:776 (2) and add a similar pattern as 00:15:045 (1,2,3)
00:35:252 (6) - alr
removing finisher from 00:39:760 (2) - completely destroys the effectiveness of the hs around this combined with the spacing. will not remove
agreed with 00:53:594 (3) - and 00:56:081 (1), tho imma add a finish on 00:55:460 (1) to be consistent with 00:50:485 (1)
01:15:356 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - i know i've never used them like this but i rly love the vibe it gives, it really reminds me of hito maps and its awesome sauce, will let them be like this unless its really bothering or unrankable(?)
01:38:983 (1,1,1) - alr
dunno whats random abt the last section
-> 01:30:278 - 01:34:009, 01:35:252 - 01:38:983, AND 01:40:226 - 01:43:957 focus on vocals while being mapped more actively with more 1/2s sliders to make it more consistent to play. yes the tapping might be weird or ""random"" but this is intentional and this should make the player more focused to play the map (also tbf these are so easy to hit)
-> while 01:34:009 - 01:34:941, 01:38:983 - 01:40:226 (yes its vocals but its intentional to fill the structures), 01:43:957 - 01:45:200 actively map background noise, mostly the guitar. 01:47:688 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) could also fit in cuz its structure is the same but filled with 1/2 to make the ending more obvious/more suspensful
i feel like the variation with both vocals and instrumentals fit in well in the kiai cuz its
a. a chorus
b. the most intense thing about the map
c. lets be real only mapping to vocals and mapping long ass vocals to be long sliders or spinners would be boring lol
so tl;dr about the ending: its structure is not random and has been mapped intentionally like it is.
01:15:356 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - is technically fine but would do them on 00:40:537 (1) - for consistency then
So the last section feels random cause of these reasons,
As u say 01:30:278 - 01:34:009, 01:35:252 - 01:38:983, AND 01:40:226 - 01:43:957 focus on vocal ( copied from ur reply)
you ignore the vocals on 01:33:232 - 01:35:719 - 01:42:092 - outside that 01:36:496 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - feels rather weird as cause u mapped 01:30:278 (1,2,3,4,5) - more focused towards vocals and on 01:36:496 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - u just seem to spam 1/2 and fully ignoring what sound is playing Example: 01:37:118 (5,6) - Could be turned into 1/2 for vocal 01:43:957 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - here the 1/2 spam is ok cause there is no vocal interfering with it
01:39:915 (4,5,6,7) - here u follow the 1/4 and ignore them on 01:38:050 - ( 01:39:915 (4,5,6,7,1) - if this is used for Section start u should put it on 01:44:890 - 01:47:377 - aswell )
01:38:672 (3) - should be 2 notes instead of slider nd 01:39:605 (2) - should be a 1/2 slider if u wanna keep density
01:50:175 (1) - why is this a spinner when its more intense than 01:47:688 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Could probably add the 1/2 spam u did on 01:43:957 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) -
This isnt really about how patterns play out whether theyre easy to hit or not, its more about Rhythm consistency so its easier to follow in general if it was to make map flow easier or better there could be some more to point out.
