As the title says I would prefer the BATs were able to receive kudosu when they apply a star icon to the map because it would be counterintuitive to put a star icon in a separate post from the mod.

for anyone missing context here's some:
MAT/BAT used to place star icon on beatmaps under two conditions:
1 they are modding the map, will likely bubble the map once the mod is applied.
2 they are just passing by and liked the map, maybe will mod it, will leave a star icon to give the map more visibility.

Yeah this is a thing for all icons that are applied to posts, because normally they are used to announce the approval/bubble of a map, which should not be receiving kudosu

it would be nice if we could shoot stars at maps like on old web ngl

Yeah i thought so. Not really a very impactful bug but would be cool if handled at some point : )
