for the example: you editing beatmap description and put a symbol like >. when you decide to edit it again and activate beatmap description on its page, the > symbol turns into >. probably applies to another specific symbols

Sorry for replying to this so late. I am not sure if this is "fixable", since it's mainly a safety-measure against XSS attacks. I'll try to look into it, when I get the time, thanks for the report!
