What are y’all’s music taste?

im a big fan of pop music! i enjoy old and new artists, stuff like katy perry, britney spears, lady gaga, and also like sabrina carpenter, tate mcrae, et cetera.

my guilty pleasure though? i really like alternative rock, specifically shoegaze and noise rock. fazerdaze is a really good artist to listen to if you want a more vanilla shoegaze artist to dip your feet into the genre first! some of my favourite artists include my bloody valentine, deftones, cocteau twins, parannoul, ray/dotstokyo, and some of the more unconventional ones include kraus, boris, and astrobrite

The Drop Goes So Hard

I usually listen to metalcore from 2000-2015, my favorite bands are bring me the horizon, asking alexandria, a day to remember, etc. I also grew up on rock and metal, so I enjoy older classics like metallica, nirvana, pantera, queen. I like most other subgenres as well, such as pop punk, alternative rock/post-grunge, nu metal, death metal, deathcore.

And when it comes to japanese music I have the same taste as most otaku: j-rock, j-pop, anime/games soundtracks, vocaloids, utaite and songs from eroge (basically everything that gets mapped in osu). touhou music also holds a special place for me, especially the older music from before 2015 (dark phoenix, demetori, foreground eclipse, jun.a, sound holic).
