Will all maps from 2016-2025 be imported in the future too? Honestly, I hope not. What makes this server special is the old maps and the nostalgic vibe. I’m fine with 2015 and 2016 maps being ranked, but most maps from 2017 onward are too modern in my opinion.

i understand i hope honestly tho titanic is gonna include more years over the years (lol) since otherwise its probably gonna die at some point lol the perfect example of that is the private server oldsu it wasnt the only problem the server had, but i imagine one of the reasons people left is because there was just no progress in what you are actually able to play lol

I haven't played on oldsu, but new maps are still being ranked quite often here (currently there are 9 mapsets in qualified). There are hundreds, maybe even thousands, of older maps in the graveyard that could be ranked here, plus we have titanic exclusive maps. There are also plenty of maps from 2017-2025 that feel less 'modern' and resemble the old mapping style. So, I don’t think we’re lacking new content or fresh maps to play, especially considering that osu!titanic is still a small community.

I agree, I've thought about it and for me I think end of 2015 is a good cutoff because late 2015 is when slider ends + HD behavior was changed. So it somewhat works as a dividing line of early vs modern osu more so than more subjective ideas of map style. I think we get enough new maps here from exclusives to where we don't need to compromise on the feel of the server. |

I plan to make a background-task that will add the new beatmaps based on the date when they were submitted, day by day

So, a map submitted on 13 Nov 2015 would only be available here on 13 nov 2025? Just trying to make sure I understand correctly |
