Kurboh's Masochism:
03:33:703 (1) - The bottom of this slider goes offscreen

This feels more like a loved map to me than something should go for ranked… maybe I just don't get it.

I'm not crazy about things like:
all these reverse arrows being so easy to SB on 00:20:587 (1) -
00:36:215 (1,2,1,3) - these triangle things are super easy to SB on
these slider shapes too 01:57:145 (3) -
the width on this thing is crazy 02:14:448 (3) -
all this shit 03:20:308 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2) -
What the fuck 03:24:773 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) -
All of these things I have pointed out because to me it feels like it's not designed around playability, it feels like it's throwing a whole bunch of gotcha gimmicks trying constantly to make you miss. Not for me.

Gotta put my 2 cents regarding the issues

> 00:20:587 (1) - this one isn't really a problem to me tbh, it goes for the same as 00:19:471 (1), i played it myself kinda plays normally, idk, just putting my 2 cents on this slider reverses thing

> 00:36:215 (1,2,1,3) - all these triangle slider-anchor-shaped sliders throughout the map aren't that easy to SB imo, if you just hold ur cursor in the middle of those triangle sliders during the gameplay, it isn't that hard tbh

> 01:57:145 (3) - this type of slider shape throughout the map has the same reason like i said about
00:36:215 (1,2,1,3) - these sliders timestamp u mentioned, you just need to hold ur cursor in the middle of those sliders during the gameplay without SB-ing them

> 02:14:448 (3) - about this one slider… it plays fine if u just make a linear cursor direction, decision go back to Kurboh if they want to change it or not

> 03:20:308 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - okay im agree this is just too much to put, pretty much impossible to go for not SBing these slider imo, idk what will Kurboh do with these objects

i mean, that's kinda the point, the map is really gimmicky and i stand by all of these patterns cuz they're all FC-able once you know the quirks of how to perform them. i don't agree with this being for loved, gimmicky maps are allowed to be ranked, check out the top two diffs of the approved/loved mapset of the song (which the TAG diff of was originally approved), some of those patterns are argubly way worse.

i fully agree with what arutama has to say here for most of it, i still think all these patterns are FC-able if given to the right player, and i gave the map to some people to playtest it and before the big build up, the rest of the map seemed good to them (i highlighted them with a O), so there isn't really a reason to change them.

i'll change the ones marked in X if there's more complaints about those from another modder

My opinion has not really been swayed on this. I’m not vetoing this map, I Just don’t want to push it in its current state. This map lacks the flow and fun of 2010-2011 style “tech” style impossible maps.

i understand it, but you can make Kurboh's diff loved but arutama one should be ranked at the same time, but tbh i think they are fine, but as you mentioned it's lacking those flows and stuff, but i guess i can give it a chance if you think this kind of suggestion is good, by promoting kurb's diff loved and arutama's diff ranked.

also related to tags, does it need to have hardcore tag i believe? i might be wrong this time.

If we have hardcore in diffname, do we need it on the tags as well? I don't think so

Also a set with ranked and loved diff at the same set is pretty much exist, example like several DJPop TAG4 mapsets
