Quick check so I mod~

00:57:882 - You might delete this slider since it doesn't have any sound here meanwhile 00:57:671 - has a prominent beat, so you can move this circle to x96 y192. Then you can do some good combination I had in my mind so please use this reference

unfortunately, it has even different rhythm than we both have mapped: 1/2s towards triple at 00:58:304 and 1/2s towards kiai after triple. i got what you though about, but your idea is more appliable for taiko diff with this rhythm. at least i have applied circle placement mod, it is more working than previous version :)
also, for rhythm reference you can check ranked bancho set from 2015, i had to compare this specific rhythm with what have been ranked in that set.

General:
  • Title marker should be "(Short Ver.) according to the following RC: Replace short version markers with (Short Ver.).


Insane:
  • 00:04:431 - Missing clap.
  • 00:39:290 (4) - Thought making this a regular curve fits the song better, as an irregular shape was used at 00:38:657 (3) - for the cymbal.
  • 00:49:431 (1,2,3,4,5) - idk, this jump feels really powerful for the context. Would consider a nerf.
  • 00:56:615 (3,1,2) - Would strongly reconsider about this wide angled flow, it feels really irregular compared to most of the sharp flows. It does create contrast, but it really feels out of the context and feels like a mistake.
  • 00:50:488 (1,2,3,4) - 01:11:826 (1,2,31,2) - Another wide angled flow, but these were sliders. I think the intention was to making it smooth and flowy along sliders, but since the click of heads were going wide, it felt a bit wonky and loose to play. Would be nice if there was some reorganization to make flows more sharp, seem to fit better with the overall style.
  • 01:01:051 (5,6) - Mind avoiding this small overlap? Doesn't felt great in visual.
  • 01:35:910 (1) - Offscreen slider. Moving few pixels up will solve it. Also the slide volume felt too loud, what about lowering the volume or muting the slide?


Mapping style feels like 2015, something what a Canadian anime mapper would've made. While I'm not really opposed to such styles being ranked, it's generally not my cup of tea so should be a pass from me.

While the map got some fun vibes to play, imo it'd be better if you cared more about emphasis and intensity control next time as most objects felt to be similar in spacing both within and between sections. Some notable exceptions were things like 00:19:009 (2,3,4) - 00:20:699 (2,3,4,5,6). If you can show more combination in spacing control, more important sounds could get a better emphasis which would improve delivering your mapping intention.
