new issue: if you will put directory that leads to different drive directory in beatmap directory string in config then client will crash when you will proceed to beatmap selection menu

Levi removed all older versions of Digital Client from the client whitelist. So make sure you update to latest if you can't login

i found that there is screen resolution which is higher than my monitor maximum resolution is available to choose. i think you need to add resolution scan and exclude incompatible resolutions from video settings

I’ll be using the previous version, because I’m having problems with the new one. Transitions between the menu, song select, editor, osu direct etc. take a very long time and I get a black screen for 10-20 seconds. Maybe my laptop is just too weak.

I don’t see why this version should lag any differently than any previous version. Do you have significantly more maps on latest than you did on the previous version? How many maps do you have loaded in right now?

I’m using version 4.3.18 and everything works fine. On the current version I don’t have many songs, maybe 20-30, but I also have a half hour linkin park marathon, I’m not sure if that matters. As for my system and pc, I’m pasting the details below:
System: Windows 11 Home (64-bit) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3550H (with Radeon Vega Mobile Graphics), ~2.1 GHz RAM: 8 GB GPU: AMD Radeon Vega 8 Graphics / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 |

Or DirectX in one and OpenGL in the other? I’m just trying to rule out any differences in that regard. I may have you test a beta version of the next release to see if it performance any better for you as we made some changes. |

In version 4.3.18 I’m using DirectX, and in version 4.4.31 I’m using OpenGL.

It works the same, I don’t see any difference. The black screen still appears when I transition from the menu to song select, editor, etc.

Yeah… I didn't expect that to fix it but I figured I'd try. If you don't mind testing, I would like to send you a test exe for .NET 10. I also worked on optimizing the sprites in song select's beatmap tree item some so hopefully it performs better :pray:
