i'll mod the diffs that aren't mine lol

General:
- audio bitrate is above 192kbps, you should lower it so map doesn't take too much space
- maybe also make the bg lower resolution cuz atm, it's pretty high for how pixelated it is :p
- the Swish and Cut diffs have no hitsounds, either ask the guest mappers to hitsound those diffs or copy the hitsounds from the Stab diff
- 03:25:049 (1) - snap this spinner end, this issue appears on multiple diffs

Swish:
00:38:977 (5) - unsnapped object!
00:44:361 (2) - move this object by 1/2 tick earlier, as it is rn, it sounds off
00:47:455 (3) - shorten this slider by 1/4 tick and then move it by that amount so it starts on a white tick, it sounds off
00:53:736 (1) - maybe end the spinner by a full tick earlier so it ends on when the guy says knives, that way it sounds nicer
01:05:174 (6) - either move this object by 1/2 tick earlier or place it closer to 01:05:361 (7) - cuz rn, it's really difficult to hit these succesfully
01:55:799 (2) - we don't need such jumps in a low diff map xd! …anyways, make the distance between these objects a little more similar
- i also dislike the fact that the second break is really big, so consider filling it up with something at some point in that break maybe

00:42:955 (1) - move this by 1/4 tick earlier, sounds better
01:49:705 (9) - i think this slider should start 1/4 tick later and (this is optional), add a circle in its place to keep it as a continous burts towards the slider, rn it sounds off
01:54:580 (1) - move this slider by 1/4 tick early and then extend it by 1/2 a tick for a better sound
02:45:299 (1) - move this by 1/4 tick earlier, sounds better
02:50:174 (3) - move this by 1/4 tick later, sounds better

Okay, so I've updated the stab diff and also fixed issue with unsnapped spinner end on yours and Basil's gd

The rest such as Basil's normal diff and bitrate will fix propably later

General:
This map is not suitable for rank in it's current iteration. There's a lot of reasons why, but the biggest comes down to the lowest difficulty.

Difficulty names are not representative of their difficulty. You should ask yourself, if you can't tell what difficulty a map is supposed to be based on their name, are they really helping the player?

Was the intention to have all difficulties have unique hitsounds? I don't think this is supposed to be the case? You should use Mapping Tools or another program to copy hitsounds down, but only after you change this:

Your hitsounds need to be redone. You should avoid hitsounding the entire slider. You can hitsound just the head, tail, or reverse arrows by double clicking them. It will make them much more pleasant to listen to

Stab:
Playfield usage is really all over the place. The entire first half of the map only uses the center of the playfield. Try to utilize the entire playfield during the entire map. You do a better job of this at the end, but you should replace the objects at the start so it doesn't feel like you are trapped in the middle for a minute and a half.

For the rhythm at 01:06:299, I'd do something like this , the way you have it while following the vocals sounds really off, I'd just follow the rhythm for 7 an 1.

01:54:580 - what is this timing point doing after the slider? it doesn't seem to change anything, either move it to the slider head at 01:54:486 or remove it

02:32:174 (4) - change this to two circles at 02:32:174 and 02:32:455 maybe?

01:49:986 (7) - maybe make this reverse arrow land on the tick here at 01:50:736?

Basil Chapman's Swish:

This map is unrankable. This is due to you breaking the ranking criteria and guidelines throughout the map.

First issue: This map must use distance snap! Due to this being a normal difficulty, players who are playing maps of this difficulty expect distance time equality, as all other ranked normals use this
Second issue: Your rhythms don't represent the song well. This can be seen by copy and pasting patterns like this 00:58:424 (1,2,3,4) - throught the kiai. Rather than this have the hardest gameplay due to the intensity, you instead have over simplified things by making everything reverse sliders.
Third issue: Repetitive rhythms. This goes along with the previous one, but having the exact same objects copy pasted and just moved around like this 01:08:549 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14) - is very lazy. The song can be represented better
Fourth issue: Sliders with multiple reverse arrows are too difficult for new players. New players find the hardest thing in this game to be holding a following notes. Circles are easier as they only require moving to the note and tapping on it.
Fifth issue: Map aesthetics. This map just doesn't really look very good, it is just linear sliders across the playfield. This map could use slider shape and placement shakeups to keep the player engaged with the map.
Sixth issue: Slider velocity is too high. The slider velocity is too fast, and too static across this map. You should lower it to something like 0.9x to 1.2x.
Seventh issue: You have left the difficulty settings as default! Normal diff conventions and our own ranking criteria specify the values you should be using here. Leaving every value as 5 is not acceptable.
Eighth issue: Unsnapped objects. This was also mentioned in Zangoose's mod, however I also want to reiterate that objects such as 00:38:977 (5) and 00:47:455 (3).
Ninth issue: 11 second long spinner. New players tend to find long spinners like this very tiring. Also this simply does not represent this section of the song well
Tenth issue: Sections of the song that should be mapped are left as breaks. Why is a section such as 01:32:924 through 01:54:205 unmapped, when you represent the section (albeit poorly) of 01:21:299 through 01:32:736?

I want to first off say that this sounds harsh, and I am not trying to intentionally to shit on you or your map, however this is just not quite ready for the ranking section. If you have any other questions or need clarifications on things I have mentioned feel free to ask me. I hope you continue to map in the future!

Nah don't worry about that, I get that It's not 100% suitable as for now for ranked but firstly I need to clarify some things that are important when it comes to how everything looked inside and overall why the final version is like that and not other way:

1 [About guest diffs]
I pinged Kurboh and Basil about that if they want to change something, now's the time to do it:

Kurboh said It's fine with his diff, so I left how it was.

Basil on the other hand said nothing (actually said but after that I've uploaded beatmap into map-request before bbs was opened) so when it comes to Basil's diff, the whole complains and overall problems with this lowest diff alone should go to BasilChapman (also I just didn't had energy to fix the Basil's diff + didn't wanted to do that without Basil's permission)



2 [About confusing diff names]
The whole gimmick with naming diff how they are was just different words that are related things that you can do with knife (relating to the song) but I get that the names are confusing, so will come up with different naming then.

3 [About hitsounds]
No, the unique hitsounds doesn't have any intention in this case. Everyone was hitsounding how feeled like.

4 [About hitsounding whole sliders on Stab diff ig]
I did that way because for me it sounded okay but I will take your critique to that to fix the issue.

5 [About warning on my diff because of missing whistle that exist on Basil's diff]
Until Basil doesn't remap this (or I will get permission to remap the whole diff) I can't fix that issue, I'm sorry.

6 [About playfield on my diff]
It's like that because my main focus was making a diff that has readable patterns but also in some places I just didn't have idea how to place the circles & sliders, so with that part my laziness and tireness took a part.
