This feels forced. The circle pattern is neat, I agree, but having it essentially repeat 4 times after is just a bit too much, and the lack of NC to me doesn't make sense. Yes, the sounds are similar, however this pattern goes against the general guidelines of "Ensure that your combos are not unreasonably short or long. Combos should reflect patterns expressed in the song, such as bars of music or vocal/instrumental phrases." We very easily can add NC's to the current objects of 00:25:137 (18) - , 00:28:351 (40) -, 00:31:208 (60) -, 00:33:887 (80) -, Each of these could be opportunities to slightly shake up the gameplay so that it doesn't feel stale.
Typically we think of mapping in terms of song representation, and I totally understand the argument of "the song has a repeating structure, so I represented it both visually and in gameplay in a similar method". I just think it's at the expense of the experience. If it were a circle, reversed circle, reflected circle, players would still catch on to the concept and I think it would elevate it to become more interesting too! This is something you already do well across the rest of the map.
01:05:316 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - I feel like this is an odd shakeup compared to what came before (and what is to come). We have seemed to shift focus from mapping the rhythm to the melody, at the expense of focusing on what I think are the most important sounds. Not only will this change come off as unusual to the player (imo), it also leaves the loudest sounds of 01:05:851, 01:06:208, 01:06:566, etc completely passive by making them sliderends. I just don't really see how this concept blends with the rest of the map currently. I feel the same about 02:13:887 (2,3,4,1,2,3,4) and when it's done later on as well.
04:25:673 (2) - I turned my effects down to 0, and I can't hear anything that justifies this, it's completely additive :sob: I don't think I agree with this, as it just adds more sounds to the map without really doing anything, I personally would remove these across the map.
Map is good overall, it has some interesting ideas, but those are the things that stuck out to me as not completely coming together.
