Hi, you have to change sliders to bezier sliders, check every diff just in case so i can bubble it.

how?

there are two ways:
1) do it by yourself (duplicate slider that you want to convert, add new slider point and move these points to make similar form of original slider)
2) use digital++'s converter (way faster but slightly breaks slider shape)

can we just stop doing this? i don't get the point of all this like BAT's literally rank bancho maps with perfect curve sliders but that's totally fine and it's okay if it doesn't work on other clients because they're ranked on bancho and can't be edited cause they do not have permission to do so :/ why can't this be made optional for those who upload their maps here? or keep this rule but then don't rank bancho maps with perfect curve sliders that would make this rule more sense IMO.

Maps uploaded through BSS will go through our Ranking Criteria. Maps added through bancho don’t have their sliders converted because the amount of work required to go through and convert all is extremely high. Could you imagine converting the nearly 12,000 beatmaps with perfect curve sliders ranked already? You’d have to be mad.

Players have the expectation that if they play a map uploaded directly to Titanic it should work on their client of choice. Maps that come from Bancho are one thing, but considering how many people play Titanic Originals on extremely old clients I don’t see it changing anytime soon.

If using a 2 click converter tool is somehow too much hassle for you, then you can simply ask someone to convert them for you. Also, to wilted_rose’s point, I have an improved Perfect Curve to bezier converter on the way. It’s based on the code from Mapping Tools and the results are nearly perfect from my testing so far. Conversion accuracy is about to change from 95-100% to 99.50%-100% based on my testing so far.
