New Insane and top diff are way better than before. I still think this kind of aim map is a little modern for Titanic though. It's probably okay though

my thoughts for heart attack diff (modded on bancho set, i think both sets are same, but if you updated titanic mapset earlier and forgot to update bancho set, reply this post):
Heart Attack the problem of this diff (and possible of insane difficulty) is that you mapped it without thinking of visual spacing for most of the flow. you looked for mechanical spacing and not visual one so it adds visual inconsistency for patterns. i will explain what i mean so you could use my thoughts for possible remap that will help you to get your set ranked (not guaranteed but on both servers): - you might look for 00:16:428 (1,2) as great example. 2nd object placed with 1.9x spacing from the sliderend (mechanical spacing), in the same time 00:16:724 (2,3) visually detached by 1.9x ds from each other. if you reverse 1st object, you will see that spacing between sliderhead of unreversed slider and 2nd object is 0.86x that is visually inconsistent. also keep in mind that osu allows you to not follow slider until its end point and start moving cursor to next object without dropping sliderend so you can use this mechanic to improve object placement to make difficulty harder. Another example is 00:09:911 (3,4) - same visual spacing issue (1.5x spacing before slider and 1.0x after). Suggestions to apply: - 00:20:576 (1) - suggestion to remove nc, you are not empahsizing song with this nc - 00:22:945 (1) - same - 00:38:054 (1,1) - same - 00:22:945 (1) - its just weird slider placement. suggestion to ctrl+h ctrl+j it & move it in bottom left side of playfield (my thought of optimal object placement) - 00:25:315 (2) - move it 1/2 forward, add circle before this object (on 00:25:315 timestamp) and detach slider from 00:24:723 (1) (aim to make same visual spacing of objects before and after this slider) - 00:32:129 (2) - it's better to replace with mirrored 00:31:833 (1) object (i mean about ctrl+h ctrl+j 00:31:833 (1)) - 00:33:018 (1) - convert to 1-2 circles, it will better for rhythm emphasize (at least for 6* map) - 00:34:202 (4) - same - 00:38:350 - same (not typing slider combo because you might look at this suggestion after nc mods) - 00:36:868 (2) - sliderhead and sliderend overlaps with 00:36:423 (2). move slider to x:107 y:37 - 00:44:275 (1,1,1) - revamp rhythm (for example (as my "great" english knowlegde allows me to explain my thoughts), you can start with 1/2 slider on 00:44:275, two 1/4 circles on 00:44:497 and 00:44:571 and another two 1/4 circles on 00:44:719 & 00:44:793) - 00:46:644 (1) - im not sure about it but replace this slider with three 1/2 circles Btw, if you want to rank map on bancho then it's better to remap diff with adding more patterns and/or better objects connections (and keeping in mind visual spacing weight for map quality) global suggestion: remove .osb from set |
