my first map :') any tips? (12/25/15)
EDIT:
Exactly 10 months after I submitted my first beatmap, I looked at my list of graveyard beatmaps and realized that I actually learned so much from and about beatmapping, though that is not to say I am anywhere near good at it. Looking back, I had no clue what I was doing on this very first beatmap except putting a circle every time I heard something. That’s why I decided to spend the last few to completely redo this beatmap in a new difficulty, "Heartbreak", from scratch, timing and all. I was planning to finish it earlier, but one of my earphones died and I didn’t want to half-assedly map. I don’t think it got much better since I’m still influenced by what I made at first, but I think improvement’s in there somewhere. Also, this wouldn’t be new if I didn’t try something I haven’t done before too: custom hitsounding! Enjoy! (11/11/16)
