Hello, they might be telling something like

I have an old version of Digital Client, but it doesn't work!

You can update to the latest version (5.0.60) by downloading a fresh copy (make sure to keep the Songs and Skins folder before moving to the new Digital Client folder!).

That reminds me, I’ve been thinking of making an archive with old builds to preserve the development history of the client in a playable form maybe.

Also the download is 273mb, is it really necessary to make the download smaller? I bet most games you download are much larger than this and you probably don't feel the need to make a smaller download for them.

I'm not sure if this is just because of catch and how sprites are loaded, including how maps are played, however, the PP counter seems to be a bit bugged when loading into any map with the osu!catch game mode enabled.

When loading into a map with osu!catch enabled, all PP shows in the counter and then briefly resets itself back to 0.00pp. This doesn't happen with Standard, Taiko, or Mania.

Is this just a bug with the pp counter dll (rosu.dll(?)) or just the game mode itself?

what is the latest skin.ini version supported? i can't quite make the [mania] section or any {n}k.ini work

This client is pre skin.ini versioning, so it's effectively version 1.0. You will want to create different ini files for each key type.

That's how vanilla works so I kept it the same way. I'd probably make it an option if I were to add that

ah thanks friend, im sorry, i thought the {n}K.ini files weren't working either but I just had wrong directories for the images

Glad you got it working! Sorry that Mania skinning isn't more robust, however I did finally get it matching mid 2014 a few releases ago at least :pray:
