My Windows version is apparently some Insider Build from a few years ago and it's disconnected from Windows Update? (going with what Oreee said about it)

Have you tried any of these solutions before? https://community.spiceworks.com/t/need-fix-for-windows-10-wont-install-net-3-5-framework/770807

You tried… all of these?

Manually placing the .NET Framework runtimes in the folder?
Manually flipping the DWORD in registry editor?

Those solutions can fix the symptom, but this supposedly will solve the underlying issue: https://www.ajtek.ca/wsus/rsat-tools-on-1809-and-higher-other-features-on-demand-aka-optional-features/

Basically your pre-release OS is blocking RSAT updates. You need to flip it to WSUS to install it, then you can go back to RSAT.

I think so? My Windows Update service wasn't even present so I had to add it, but it still doesn't work.

Edit osu!.exe.config (or create one) in the same directory as the client, remove existing contents, and put this in instead:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<configuration>
<startup useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true">
<supportedRuntime version="v4.0"/>
</startup>
</configuration>

First hotfix for b99 Titanic! This release fixes a bug where the game would crash after entering song select when choosing "b99 Feature Set Only" in the First Run Overlay. This is because two of the bundled maps are b99 Compatible. This is fixed.

The First Run button description text got a font size increase, it should be easier to read now.

Update URL has been added, there was no forum post so I couldn't add it yet.

The Tooltip background has been made darker, it should be easier to see tooltips now.

Mr. Ladybug Painter now has a background dim slider

Mr. Ladybug Painter received some bug fixes, mostly around tooltips being visible under the showcase overlay.

You can download the updated client here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/zz10okc83acvgs7/b99_Titanic_1.0.2.7z/file
If you are updating from 1.0.0 you can just replace the exe with the new one: https://www.mediafire.com/file/qbpqcdl3l0eggh2/b99_Titanic_1.0.2_Patch_File.7z/file

Please install the components in the Dependencies section of the main post. .NET Framework 3.5 and DirectX 9 runtimes and let me know if it works after that. :saluting_face:
