I think it would be really fun if there was a vote every year on what the community decides are the top 10 best titanic players instead from pp or score it instead stems from community reception (personality, mapping, etc. etc.)
This event can run yearly (Maybe around September-November area?) and can serve as a nice time capsule and sort of a "look back" on what was going on that year.

so a popularity contest? no thanks. if we are doing a contest it needs to be for something specific

actually nvm looking back that's never how ppl did top player votes lol.

they were usually just forum posts though, so you could still do it on your own. I'm only finding a few examples rn, but from memory, I think most were in a format like "list your top N players", and then the results were tallied in some ranked choice manner. I remember there were some people that would regularly make videos of the results, with commentary over some of their best plays

Something like this is planned for the titanic channel. I will make a forum post about it hopefully mid November - early December.

Id like to do the same for mapping as well.
