Why play for rank? Play for your own fun, not for a number to go up. What if you're the #1 player? Since there is no competition, you get tired of the game. Instead, set some great scores, don't care about rank and just live your life normally without being top 50 or top 100. Just play the game If you want to play for rank? Go for it. I'm not telling you not to.
