scale the cookie down in the existing layer till it lines up. There is a decent amount of blank space around the official asset

0xc0000005 is an access violation error, I've made a few tweaks to the way it chooses when to dispose the shader in hopes of this error not happening for you in the next release. If it still does, let me know and we can try to work together to pin down the specific issue. I don't have a lot to go off of from the error since this kind of error is coming from your GPU drivers instead of osu! (hence the odd popup).

You use an NVIDIA GTX 650 right? I saw thats what is said in the Hardware Benchmark. I have an old GTX 645 I could test with later I guess if it's like specific to that generation maybe…?

I'm not denying about the graphics card.

I tried some versions and d3d
4.x.xx does not crash (in both renderers), 5.0.xx only in d3d without problems

Okay! thanks for letting me know, if you want to test an early version of the next release where I've attempted to fix it for OpenGL lmk, otherwise you can test my changes in the next release

really internet depending client. i really don't know but with poor internet connection the client might freeze for a long time or even crash (got this on .net 4.0 executable). i guess its because client loads user card on screen change (beatmap wheel -> main menu for example)
also, i think that you need to provide extra skins, resources and compatibility executables separately from the client. it must be provided without extra things. but this doesn't mean that extra stuff is bad and should be removed. it's more about different way to share cool stuff with people.

Next release of Digital Client will use web sockets to connect to Titanic by default (thanks Levi!), maybe this will resolve your problem, I have not had any issues related to connections ever though.

Too much hassle, the total download of the client is only 270mb? My beatmap collection takes up more space than every public release of this client I have ever made combined and it's not even close. I think it's a minor issue overall, if the client download were multiple gigs I would agree.
